Miss Lauren
I began dancing at the age of two and always knew I wanted to pursue a life in the arts. Trained in both IDTA and NATD, my passion for dance continued to grow as I progressed to Pendleton College. After this I began three years of intensive professional training at London Studio Centre completing a BA (Hons) Degree in Dance Performance.
My professional credits include the JJB Sports advert, CBeebies’ Dance Factory, Move It, Stand Up UK – Brighton, and a workshop for American Psycho at the Almeida Theatre with Rupert Goold and Lynne Page. Additional work includes a spoof music video for BBC Radio 1’s Greg James and a live tour with the Pet Shop Boys at the Royal Opera House.
Beyond dance, I hold a Level 2 Personal Training qualification and have a strong passion for yoga, having worked in a yoga studio for two-year experience that helps my understanding of body awareness, strength, and alignment.
With over seven years of teaching experience and as a mum of two beautiful girls, I’m committed to creating a supportive, energetic, and fun environment where dancers of all ages and abilities can thrive. I teach in a variety of styles, but my true passion lies in street and contemporary, where I love helping dancers find confidence, creativity, and their own unique movement.
