Shooting Stars

Our Shooting Stars classes are the perfect next step from babyballet, or a great, relaxed introduction to dance for new students. These classes give children the opportunity to try a range of dance styles alongside ballet. As the foundation subject of theatre dance, ballet is always a key part of this class, with other styles such as tap, theatrecraft, modern jazz and national introduced as well.

Our focus is firmly on fun, with popular music choices and exciting routines that our students will enjoy learning and perfecting.

Each student will work towards their Preliminary International Dance Rewards badges which they will achieve by mastering different steps and technique but also by showing they understand class discipline and etiquette and by having a positive attitude.

Students are also given the opportunity to take part in exam sessions for their IDTA Rosettes, which they can achieve by performing set exercises and dances for an examiner.

Classes are an hour long with a very short break and parents are invited in to watch what has been learned at the end of class and to watch a full class at the end of term.
