We would like to invite your child to enter their ballet Rosette exam!

This is a great, relaxed introduction to dance exams and a fantastic way for children to build their confidence and get recognition for their hard work and we’re really excited to offer these at TDA.

These are 5 minute exams, taken in groups with Miss Sally in the room leading the exam. Children perform 2 short exercises for an external examiner, one set by the exam board, one set by Miss Sally. Successful students receive a certificate and a Rosette Award from IDTA – International Dance Teachers Association.

All preparation will take place in their usual classes, alongside their show work. Exams will take place in the morning. Children will wear their class leotard and will need uniform ballet shoes with pink elastics and uniform pink ballet socks. Please do not buy these from the high street, ebay, amazon, supermarkets etc.

If you would like your child to take part please complete and return the form to Miss Sally at the studio or a scanned copy via email to sally@theatredanceacademy.co.uk by  no later than Saturday 11th May at the very latest.
